Engineer Fritz Joassin recounted his professional journey and experiences in setting up several radio and television stations. His story in the broadcasting field dates back to 1976. Freshly graduated from a university in Chicago, USA, the young engineer had the opportunity to collaborate with Harris Corporation, a company that had secured a contract with the Haitian government for the design and installation of the National Radio of Haiti.

According to the contract terms, the firm was to deliver a functional station by December 24, 1976. An objective that, according to the engineer's testimony, was achieved within the set deadlines. "Indeed, we turned on the transmitter and the studio was operational on December 24. I remember when we called the officials to tell them we had completed the project, they told us they were not ready yet. I had to leave with the transmitter still on because I had to spend Christmas with my family," Fritz Joassaint said on the airwaves of Magik 9.
