Electronic engineer and pioneer of radio and television equipment installation in Haiti, Fritz Joassin was the guest of the morning show Panel Magik, on Magik9, on Monday, October 26. He talked about two stations that his name is still associated with, Radio Galaxie and Magic Stéréo, now Magik9. These are two distinct stories. In the first, he was an installer and shareholder. In the second, he set up the station and hosted a jazz show.

It all starts with Radio Galaxie. Fritz Joassin recalls securing the contract with Hawens Bellevue, Dadou Jean Bart, and Félix Lamy, who wanted to set up a station and already knew him. "They came to make me the proposal that I accepted with open arms," he recalls. A fourth manager, more invested in sports, was to be part of the project, but he had to withdraw for family reasons.
