Following Haiti's participation (men's 5×5 team) in Guyana for the FIBA AmeriCup 2029 pre-qualifications and the Central American and Caribbean Games (men's 3×3 team) in Santo Domingo, the country is set to return to the continental stage for a third time this year.

Placed in Group B, the Grenadiers will play three matches on October 28, 2026. They will face Saint Kitts and Nevis at 2:10 PM, Venezuela at 5:15 PM, and Nicaragua at 7:55 PM. Should the Haitian team qualify, they will advance to the next phase where they will meet the Brazilian team and the Puerto Rican team among others.
Having been continuously present at the AmeriCup 3x3 since 2021, the Haitian team demonstrates its consistency in one of the major events on the continental calendar. This continuity is part of the efforts made by the FHB to keep national teams active and allow Haitian players to gain more experience by competing against the best nations in the region.
Jeffrey Réginald Coby, Farnold Degand, Hernst Laroche, and Junior Saintel are part of the roster for the Haitian men's 3×3 basketball team. It is worth noting that this participation in San Salvador will mark the third international outing for the Haitian Basketball Federation in 2026.
After participating in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, Haiti will once again be present in 2026. In San Salvador, the Grenadiers will have the opportunity to write a new chapter in the adventure of Haitian 3x3 on the American stage.
