The mayor of Cité du drapeau, Wilner René, expressed his regret over the murder of seven people, including members of self-defense brigades, during the attacks launched by the bandits of the criminal coalition "Viv ansanm" between Saturday, October 31, and Monday, November 2, 2026.

Speaking on Panel Magik on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Mr. René specified that this toll could be revised upwards, adding that residents trapped in their own homes were also killed by the bandits during the attacks.

For now, according to Wilner René, the municipality of Arcahaie and the communal civil protection directorate do not yet have a consolidated toll of the attacks carried out by the bandits. Search and counting operations are still ongoing.
