"The 29th edition of Livres en folie will be held at the Karibe Convention Center on Thursday, June 8th, from 9 am to 4 pm. Once the clock strikes 4 pm, the entrance booth will be closed, preventing any further entry into the complex. However, those already inside will be given an extra 30 minutes to finalize their transactions. At 5 pm, the event will draw to a close, and all attendees will be required to vacate the premises," explained Max Chauvet, director of Le Nouvelliste. "Entrance tickets are priced at 1000 gourdes and include a 500 gourdes coupon for book purchases. Moreover, ticket holders will receive a complimentary bottle of Dasani water, a Digicel recharge card, and a cola. Additionally, they can redeem the coupon for issues of Petit Nouvelliste."

"We have a total of nine counters distributed throughout the Karibe complex, consisting of seven publishing houses and two distributors. To accommodate various weather conditions, all counters will be situated in enclosed rooms, while the authors will be stationed under tents in the spacious courtyard of the Karibe. After observing traffic congestion and difficulties accessing the counters last year, we have implemented a new distribution system. Upon arrival, attendees can purchase their entrance ticket and receive a copy of Le Nouvelliste, which includes a comprehensive list of available books. With 1,180 titles to choose from and 50 authors scheduled for book signings, there is a wide range of options for book enthusiasts. Online sales commenced on Monday morning at www.livresenfolie.com, providing the convenience for those who prefer not to travel to place their orders until Sunday evening," Mr. Chauvet elaborated.
