More than a year later, the order for 18 armored vehicles for the Haitian National Police (PNH) is still not completed, while in some neighborhoods, gangs continue to kidnap, shoot, and spread terror.

Recall that on October 18, 2022, five months after signing a contract worth 18 million dollars with the Canadian company Inkas, the first armored vehicles from the order of 18 were airlifted to Port-au-Prince. "The company is facing considerable and significant logistical difficulties. Yes, indeed, there is a delay. Everyone is dissatisfied with this delay. I have good hope that it will be resolved in the coming weeks," said the Canadian ambassador to Haiti, Sébastien Carrière, in an interview on Magik9 (100.9 FM) on October 7, 2022.
