Lawyer Frandley Denis Julien expects the judge overseeing the trial between the 20 states opposed to the Humanitarian Parole and the federal government to deliver a verdict in late September or sometime in October 2023. However, in the meantime, he urges all individuals who wish to benefit from this program to proceed with the process, believing that the government will prevail even if it needs to appeal.

"When the judge makes his decision, it is highly likely that many people will appeal, whether it is in favor of the Republicans or the Democrats. In this sense, regardless of the verdict, participation in this program must continue," said the lawyer on the Panel Magik show on Wednesday, August 30.
