As the year 2023 comes to a close, it becomes increasingly evident, in the waning hours, that there will be no political miracle in Haiti in 2023.

The December 21, 2022 agreement failed to move the stalled political chariot it was meant to propel. The transition is mired in a vast quagmire of stagnation. The engine is too weak.
