"The Association of Industries in Haiti (ADIH) deems it imperative to ensure the effective functioning of two entities in Haiti: the Board of Directors of Social Security Entities (CAOSS) and the Higher Wage Council (CSS). For years, corruption cases have continuously tarnished the reputation of ONA. Questions also arise about OFATMA's governance. These two institutions are supposed to be overseen by the Board of Directors of Social Security Entities (CAOSS), a tripartite entity involving the government, the private sector, and the labor sector," noted ADIH, emphasizing that "this structure ceased to exist since 2019."

ADIH stated that "at the request of the Haitian government, expressed through the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MAST), the private sector and the labor sector responded by presenting candidates for CAOSS and CSS in early September 2023. To date, three months have passed, and no publication has been made in the official journal Le Moniteur regarding the creation and establishment of these two entities."
