Pierre Richard Joseph, General Manager of the International Port of Cap-Haitien, met with representatives of NH Global, the construction firm responsible for executing the rehabilitation project of the port, on April 5, as reported to Le Nouvelliste.

According to a statement from the National Port Authority (APN), this meeting discussed the final details regarding the mobilization of the firm on site. "Following this meeting, which also involved representatives from USAID and the Terminal Operator, a field visit was conducted to assess the progress of the evacuation works of the main areas to be demolished as part of the execution of this project. The Port Director provided all assurances that these areas will be completely cleared within a reasonable timeframe," reads the statement shared with Le Nouvelliste's editorial team.
