The members of the Presidential Transition Council met on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Villa d’Accueil, with Acting Prime Minister Michel Patrick Boisvert and the Director General of the Haitian National Police, Frantz Elbé. Among the topics discussed during the meeting were the restoration of security in the country and the installation of the presidential advisors at the National Palace.

"We discussed the restoration of security in general in the country, the security of the members of the Presidential Council, and the security on the day of our installation at the National Palace," reported a presidential advisor who attended the meeting to Le Nouvelliste.
