The National Commission for Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration (CNDDR) is calling on the gangs to observe a ceasefire. Jean Rebel Dorcena, one of the members of this organization, favors the arrival of an international security force to support the national police.

Speaking on the "Panel Magik" program on April 22, 2024, on Magik 9, Jean Rebel Dorcena from the CNDDR urged to "stop the wave of bloodshed in Haiti." Corpses are being counted in several neighborhoods of the country, and gangs are targeting the population, bearing the brunt of the escalating insecurity. "Those who have not yet taken up arms, those who have not yet joined an armed group, those who have not yet been killed by the police must reflect on who they are fighting with. Let's have a ceasefire to reassess the target," Jean Rebel Dorcena emphasized.
