Presidential advisors Leslie Voltaire, Fritz Alphonse Jean, and Laurent St-Cyr are having a hard time digesting the show of force by their four other colleagues at the Presidential Transition Council on Tuesday, April 30th. To express their opposition to how the majority bloc at the CPT imposed Edgard Leblanc Fils as the Council's president and Fritz Bélizaire as Prime Minister, they boycotted a meeting on Thursday with CARICOM.
"We (Leslie Voltaire, Fritz Alphonse Jean, and Laurent St-Cyr) did not participate in the meeting on Thursday, May 2nd, with CARICOM. They (the majority) gathered four members at the Council to reproduce the majority practice in Parliament to control the Council," criticized our source, a Council member.
