The Transitional Presidential Council, collectively, applauded Kenya's solidarity, reaffirmed its commitment to the memorandum for security cooperation between Port-au-Prince and Nairobi, paving the way for the deployment of the Kenyan contingent of the Multinational Security Support Mission.

"We, the President and Members of the Transitional Presidential Council of the Republic of Haiti, have the honor to express to Your Excellency our satisfaction with Kenya's solidarity towards our country in these unprecedented times of crisis in the life of the Republic," reads a letter from the president of the TPC, Edgard Leblanc Fils, to the president of Kenya, William Ruto, dated May 3, 2024.
