Mission in Haiti Inc., a U.S.-based charitable organization, reported via its Facebook page that Davy and Natalie Lloyd were attacked and killed by gangs on the night of Thursday to Friday in Haiti. "Davy, Natalie, and Jude Montis were shot dead by a gang around 9 PM tonight. We are all devastated," Mission Haiti Inc. announced on Friday, May 24, 2024.

Natalie's father, Missouri State Representative Ben Baker, confirmed the deaths of his daughter and son-in-law in a statement posted by the American media outlet KOAM news.com.

"My heart is broken into a thousand pieces. I have never felt such pain. Most of you know that my daughter and son-in-law, Davy and Natalie Lloyd, were full-time missionaries in Haiti. They were attacked by gangs tonight and were both killed. They went to heaven together. Please pray for my family; we desperately need strength. And pray for the Lloyd family. I have no other words right now," stated Ben Baker.
