Presiding over the installation ceremony, Prime Minister Gary Conille reminded the new minister of her duty to deliver results in her position. "It is a pleasure for me to install Ketleen Florestal as Minister of Planning and External Cooperation. Her accession to this position of great responsibility imposes an obligation to achieve results," emphasized Mr. Conille, expressing confidence in Ms. Florestal's abilities to succeed in her missions.

Addressing Ms. Florestal directly, the Prime Minister outlined the main responsibilities entrusted to her at the MPCE. "One of the fundamental tasks of your mission is to bring order to public investments so that ongoing development projects no longer serve as an adjustment variable in public management. You will have the weighty task, supported by ministry resources, to bring coherence to various public initiatives across the country so that public actions no longer scatter. You will also work within the framework of territorial planning alongside the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities that I oversee, to revive certain essential projects," detailed Mr. Conille.
