The Taiwanese government donated 400 protection kits to the Haitian National Police (PNH) and the Haitian Armed Forces (FADH). The handover ceremony took place today, attended by Prime Minister Garry Conille, his Chief of Staff Nesmy Manigat, and Taiwanese Ambassador to Port-au-Prince Wen-Jiann Ku.
In his remarks, Ambassador Wen-Jiann Ku emphasized the importance of supporting Haiti's security forces. “Today, we face significant challenges that give us the opportunity to show our solidarity and friendship. It is in the spirit of this brotherhood that I am presenting a batch of personal protective equipment to the Haitian government,” said the diplomat.
