After separately questioning the former Chairman of the BNC Board of Directors and the three advisers accused of corruption, the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) has scheduled a confrontation session for Thursday, September 12, with Smith Augustin, Louis Gérald Gilles, and Raoul Pierre-Louis.
“Yes, I will be there. I will fight to the end for my honor,” said adviser Emmanuel Vertilaire in a statement to Le Nouvelliste, confirming his attendance at the ULCC's invitation on Thursday. When asked about reports suggesting that his party leader, Jean-Charles Moïse, is negotiating to replace him on the Presidential Council, Emmanuel Vertilaire downplayed these claims.
