Le Nouvelliste has learned about the kidnapping of two crew members from a cargo ship in the Port-au-Prince harbor on Tuesday, September 10. According to information obtained by Le Nouvelliste, the ship belongs to the international company Crowley, which specializes in container transportation. The victims are Filipino nationals.

"The attackers boarded a small boat, a speedboat, and stormed the ship where the sailors were. The vessel, which had already set sail, was waiting for the port authority to carry out the docking procedure," Le Nouvelliste was informed. Attempts to obtain clarification from the National Port Authority (APN) were unsuccessful.
