On Thursday, September 12, counselors Louis Gérald Gilles, Smith Augustin, and Emmanuel Vertilaire once again appeared before the Anti-Corruption Unit's (ULCC) investigative commission to answer questions regarding the BNC corruption scandal. The accuser, Raoul Pierre-Louis, who was supposed to face off with the counselors, was notably absent.

For the second time in a row, the ULCC’s investigative commission questioned the three presidential advisers involved in the BNC scandal. This session, which was supposed to be a confrontation between the accused and the accuser, proceeded without the presence of Raoul Pierre-Louis. The ULCC plans to summon the former chairman of the BNC board of directors once more before concluding this investigation, Le Nouvelliste has learned.
