The United Nations has released a new report detailing the increasing violence by gangs against civilians in the metropolitan region and the Artibonite area.

At least 3,661 people have been killed since January of this year, marking the highest levels of violence observed since 2023, according to the latest figures documented by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), as reported by the UN News Agency on Friday, September 27, 2024.
