The President of the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT) and the Prime Minister continue to publicly display their differences. Divided on various issues, including the proposed government reshuffle, Leslie Voltaire and Garry Conille are laying bare the dysfunction of the transition. On Sunday, October 20, the Prime Minister visited the Haitian Armed Forces' headquarters. Less than 20 hours later, the President of the CPT also made his own visit to the same location.

"The President of the Transitional Presidential Council, His Excellency Leslie Voltaire, accompanied by other members of the CPT, held a new working session on Monday, October 21, 2024, with the Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Derby Guerrier, the Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH), Mr. Normil Rameau, and high-ranking officials of the police institution," reads a note from the Presidency.
