Two airlines temporarily suspended flights to and from Port-au-Prince on Friday, October 25, 2024. The affected carriers, Spirit Airlines and JetBlue, have halted service on the Port-au-Prince-Fort Lauderdale route, Le Nouvelliste learned.

Spirit Airlines suspended its flights starting Thursday, October 24. As of now, it is not possible to book flights from Port-au-Prince to Fort Lauderdale or vice versa on Spirit’s website or mobile app for October 26 and 27. However, a flight is available for booking on Monday, October 28.
