While the Prime Minister was set to meet with members of the Presidential Council on Thursday to discuss the reshuffling of his government, Garry Conille sent a letter to the president of the CPT the day prior, urging Leslie Voltaire to take decisive action regarding the three Presidential Council advisors implicated in the BNC corruption scandal, Le Nouvelliste has learned from a CPT source.
In the letter addressed solely to the President of the Council, the Prime Minister calls on Voltaire “to take the necessary steps to remove the three advisors involved in the BNC corruption scandal from the Council,” according to a Presidential Council advisor who spoke to Le Nouvelliste.
