The President of the Presidential Transition Council (CPT), Leslie Voltaire, reacted to statements made by Liné Balthazar, who claimed on Magik 9 on January 10 that political parties represented within the CPT were taking into account the position of the armed gang coalition "Viv Ansanm," which supports a judge from the Supreme Court replacing the CPT. This statement by PHTK President Balthazar was deemed scandalous by Mr. Voltaire, who gave an exclusive interview to Magik 9 on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

"Democrats cannot collaborate with criminals. These individuals cannot be part of the solution. Gangs cannot be part of a solution for good governance, especially when some of their leaders are actively wanted and sanctioned for their crimes," stated the CPT president.
