As the 2023-2024 academic year neared its end, armed groups stormed the school, forcing its closure in the midst of widespread insecurity. With students unable to return, Father Aujour arranged for a temporary relocation to Saint-Joseph School, run by the Brothers of Christian Instruction in Pétion-Ville, allowing students to complete the school year.
Despite the difficult circumstances, students successfully passed their official exams, which Father Aujour considers a major achievement. However, uncertainty loomed over the possibility of securing a permanent location for the new academic year. Finding a new site proved challenging, according to the director.
