This February 5, 2025, marks 40 years since the beginning of Frantz Duval’s collaboration with Le Nouvelliste. Four decades later, the newspaper’s current editor-in-chief remembers his beginnings as if they were yesterday. He revisited this part of his story in an interview given this Wednesday. Before seeing his first text published in the newspaper’s columns, before reading his own articles, Frantz Duval was an avid listener of Le Nouvelliste.

"I enjoyed it when my grandmother, Antiope, read articles aloud to me. As a child, I was fascinated by the newspaper’s international news. Each article felt like an adventure story—the news about wars or space exploration was thrilling. Through the pages of Le Nouvelliste and the voice of my grandmother, I explored the world," FD recalls.
