The Haitian government is now turning its attention to individuals sanctioned by the United States, Canada, and the UN Security Council. On Monday evening, CPT President Leslie Voltaire revealed that Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils Aimé has been instructed to follow up on this matter, and legal proceedings will be initiated against those concerned.

"This morning, the CPT instructed the Prime Minister to gather and examine all available evidence against individuals sanctioned by Canada, the United States, and the United Nations for their alleged role in Haiti’s destabilization. The government will take all necessary measures to investigate and initiate legal action. The state will act firmly to bring to justice those who undermine Haiti’s security and stability. We urge the population to remain vigilant against any attempts at manipulation and destabilization. Do not fall into the trap of gangs and those who serve their interests!" wrote Leslie Voltaire on his X account.
