Law enforcement has regained control over the armed gangs that launched a bloody attack on the commune of Kenscoff at dawn on Sunday, February 16, 2025. The assailants had seized control of a facility housing several antennas, where soldiers from the Armed Forces of Haiti (FADH) and agents from the Protected Areas Security Brigade (BSAP) were stationed.

By early afternoon, the spokesperson for the Multinational Security Support Mission (MSSM), Jack Mbaka, announced the recapture of the facility, known as Téléco. “The PNH and the MSSM special team have taken control of Téléco,” he stated.
