On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the President of the Transitional Presidential Council, Fritz Alphonse Jean, departed Port-au-Prince for Brazil, where he is set to take part in a Brazil/CARICOM summit on June 13.

Last week, it was Laurent Saint-Cyr who traveled to Nice to attend the United Nations Ocean Conference 2025, held from June 9 to 13. The theme chosen by the UN for this summit is “Accelerating action and mobilizing all actors to preserve and sustainably use the ocean…”
