Two officers of the Haitian National Police were killed during the night of August 12 to 13, 2025, in Kenscoff. A police source confirmed the information to Le Nouvelliste in the late afternoon. The victims were two officers of the Departmental Operations and Intervention Brigade (BOID), the source said, adding that they were not in a position to provide their names.

“The armored vehicle in which they were patrolling fell into a trench. The officers inside tried to disengage. Two were killed, three others injured. The vehicle was set on fire,” the source told Le Nouvelliste.
