On Tuesday, January 27, 2025, an open letter was published in the columns of Le Nouvelliste. In it, the founder-director of Collège Canapé-Vert, Mrs. Franck Paul, informed the public that the school is under threat of dispossession. Invited to Panel Magik, Mrs. Paul revisited the threats looming over the institution she has led for more than half a century.

The Collège Canapé-Vert, a school founded on October 7, 1974, and located in the neighborhood of the same name, is now facing the threat of eviction, denounced its founder-director, Mrs. Franck Paul. According to her, the land on which the school stands was purchased from the Rivière heirs and used without dispute for several decades.
