Following the public denunciations by the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Jean Ronel Sistanis, the ministry provided clarifications on projects that are underway or pending execution during a press briefing limited to a simple press point, held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Kinam Hotel. While the Minister of Defense, Jean-Michel Moïse, did not appear on this occasion, Jean Robenson Servilius, head of communications at the ministry, and Mario Volcy, the ministry’s attorney, met with the press in an attempt to put an end to the allegations relayed by Mr. Sistanis.

“Of the four projects cited in the press, only one project is currently being implemented,” stated the Ministry of Defense’s communications officer.
