The Haitian government intends to rely on the deployment of the Gang Repression Force (GSF) to encourage the return of airlines to the Aéroport international Toussaint Louverture in order to operate international flights. The head of government indicated that GSF agents will be deployed within the airport infrastructure to guarantee its security. “Our argument is simple: if GSF agents are deployed at the airport to ensure security, there is no reason why American airline planes should not return,” he stated.
