Hundreds of young people gathered at the Hôtel Montana for the Youth Leadership Forum in Haiti (FLJH) on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. The event was organized by the United Nations Development Programme, in partnership with Université d'État d'Haïti, with financial support from Canada.

Under the slogan “Jenès la pare, Ayiti pral kanpe” (“The youth are ready, Haiti will stand”), the UNDP, UEH, and their partners brought together hundreds of young people from several communes in the West department to participate in the FLJH. This forum marks the third edition organized by the UNDP, following those held in the South and the Greater North regions.
