In the presence of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, the National Airport Authority (AAN) presented, last Thursday, a development plan for Cap-Haïtien International Airport (AICH). The program includes four major projects intended to increase the airport’s capacity, improve passenger reception conditions and strengthen airport infrastructure.
Developed by the teams of the AAN’s Planning and Engineering Directorate, the program brings together four development projects that are expected to gradually transform the airport’s facilities. The work comes in a context marked notably by the announced resumption of international flights operated by U.S. airlines beginning November 1, 2026.
