Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, head of government and president of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN), who chaired an emergency meeting with CSPN members this Wednesday following the massacre carried out by armed gangs in Kenscoff during the night of August 23 to 24, 2026, ordered a “firm response,” according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office published Wednesday.
“The government’s determination is total. We will regain the initiative, hunt down those responsible and dismantle the criminal networks terrorizing the population. The Kenscoff massacre will not go unpunished,” the Prime Minister insisted, as quoted in the statement.
