According to the Executive Director of ADIH, Sophia Joseph Riboul, the idea of organizing this job fair came from the observation of a shortage of human resources in several companies. "We observe that most of our members are facing a shortage of human resources. This problem is caused by the brain drain in recent days with the Biden administration's Humanitarian Parole program. Several executives have also emigrated to Canada or other horizons. It is in this sense that we organize this job fair to allow these companies to find professionals who meet vacant positions and replace the executives who have left," explained Sophia Joseph Riboul, who is also the general manager of Fit Conseils RH.
Several public and private companies were contacted to participate in this job fair. 25 responded to the call. Among them were Unibank, Sogebank, Digicel, Brana, OFATMA, and Canado-Technique. On the applicants' side, professionals turned up in large numbers. Armed with their resumes, they formed long queues in front of the booths representing each company.
