At a press conference on Friday, August 23, 2024, the Executive Director of OCNH accused POHDH of being responsible for the delay in choosing the human rights sector's representative to the CEP. According to Camille Occius, POHDH repeatedly violated the principles that had been established in advance through a guide by both parties for selecting their representative to the CEP.

"During the period for receiving applications from organizations, POHDH not only violated the agreed-upon principles but also attempted to introduce criteria not mentioned in the guide, which we refused to accept. For example, POHDH demanded that organizations provide proof of activity and proposed that the application files be divided into three batches, each to be evaluated by a different committee member instead of conducting a joint working session with all committee members," lamented Camille Occius, calling for wisdom from POHDH officials.
